ExportChain

إكسبورت تشين

Authorised officers of the competent authorities issue certificates of origin, phytosanitary, food-safety and other export certificates that importing customs and buyers verify by number.

The problem

Why it is needed

Export certificates are still issued on paper or in separate systems. Importing customs cannot easily confirm that a certificate is genuine, and forged certificates damage the country’s export reputation.

Where it stands todayLive demo with 15 certificate families and public verification in Arabic and English. Columbia One issues no certificate on behalf of any authority; pilots need each authority’s agreement.
How it works

Step by step

  1. ApplyThe exporter applies for the certificate with the shipment details.
  2. InspectThe authority (for example plant quarantine or food safety) inspects and records the result.
  3. IssueAn authorised officer issues and signs the certificate; its fingerprint is written to the ledger.
  4. UseThe certificate can be presented under a letter of credit on Trade Trust.
  5. VerifyCustoms and buyers abroad type the number or scan the QR and see the genuine certificate.
