Trade Trust

منصة الثقة الرقمية وفق قانون الأونسيترال النموذجي (MLETR)

One digital original for each bill of lading, promissory note, bill of exchange and warehouse receipt, with one holder in control at a time. Banks register the credits and guarantees they sent by SWIFT on the same record.

The problem

Why it is needed

Paper originals travel by courier between exporter, banks, carrier and buyer. Trade is slow, a forged or duplicated original is hard to detect, and supervisors see documents late.

Where it stands todayLive demo and sandbox in 11 languages, open to approved e-mail addresses. Egypt has not yet adopted the MLETR; today records take effect between participants under the Participants Agreement and Rulebook. Columbia One holds and moves no funds, and the SWIFT message prevails for credits and guarantees.
How it works

Step by step

  1. IssueThe issuer creates the electronic record: an eBL, a promissory note, a bill of exchange or a warehouse receipt.
  2. ControlExactly one party holds the record at any time. The holder sees its rights: transfer, pledge to a bank, present for release or payment.
  3. TransferControl passes only when the receiving party accepts. Every step is signed by a maker and a checker and kept in an unbroken audit trail.
  4. FinanceBanks register letters of credit and guarantees from their SWIFT messages; documents are presented, examined and released on the same record.
  5. VerifyAnyone checks the current holder, history and integrity by reference or QR code, without an account.
